One moment. Pause, notice, be grateful.

Start with gratitude.
Continue on your own path.

Sometimes all it takes is one quiet moment: to notice what is already here, make room for what you are carrying, and choose one small thing that could make today feel a little better.

Not everything has to happen now

Some days it looks as if everyone else has already arrived while you are still behind. Your life is not a race against anyone else.

One small moment can become a path.

Every screen begins with what matters now: your day, your words, and the next step you chose — with space for Jewish roots to open gradually.

A private moment from the heart

What are you grateful for today?

Write freely and keep it to yourself. If you choose to share, the card only says that you paused for gratitude — never what you wrote.

My path

The things you want for yourself.

A goal, habit, task, or quality you want to strengthen. Choose when to be reminded, mark it when it feels right, and undo it too — with no score, competition, or sense of failure.

It does not all have to happen at once. Choose one thing that matters — and begin there.
One small step on your path

What feels right for you now?

Begin with gratitude or a daily thought, then continue into prayer, the weekly portion, Tefillin, or Shabbat. Every choice can bring a little more light, gratitude, and Jewish grounding into life — without pressure to do everything at once.

So what is the story behind Modeh?

Room for one honest moment inside all the noise.

Modeh grew from a personal journey, but it is not only one person’s story. It is for anyone who sometimes gets caught chasing what comes next, comparing themselves to others, or forgetting to notice what is already here.

No matter how much money you have, how far you have come, or which luxury car you drive, someone may be wishing for something already present in your life. That does not mean giving up on ambition. Believe in your path, aim high, and enjoy it — without letting the chase hide your health, family, time, and the moments money cannot buy.

Gratitude does not erase what hurts or promise simple answers. It offers a pause: a chance to feel, appreciate, and choose the next step, first within yourself.

From there, you can gradually open another thought, prayer, weekly portion, or Jewish root that speaks to real life. No preaching, no score, and no one telling you who you must become. Humanity comes first, on your own path.

And if that private moment becomes a kind word, real listening, or one small act that brightens someone else’s day, it carries a little more light forward.

In memory and for the elevation of their souls

This path is lovingly dedicated to the memories of Susan Mazal Abuhatzira z”l, Shlomo Abuhatzira z”l, Miriam Yemini z”l, Yitzhak Yemini z”l, and Alice Shama z”l; to Israel’s fallen service members, victims of terrorism and hostilities, and all our loved ones who are no longer with us. May their souls be bound in the bond of life.
